Dinosaur Land...

For Labor Day this year the family decided it would be fun to go to Ogden to the Dinosaur Park. So we got up bright and early and headed north. The park was lots of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves walking through the museum and looking at all the displays of bones, fossils, and my favorite the precious stones! The kiddo's really loved the animated T-rex and Stegosaurus. Okay... all but Ashlyn who had quite the grip on her daddy's neck. Sienna and Brogun both really seemed to enjoy the park and the entire day. It is always fun to get together and go different places.

Friendly Fishing Contest...

Cheese...
Miss Talia

Emily Wins..

HMMMMM

You sure that is not the bait?
Corey, Emily, Talia, Derrick and I had a great time at the lake last weekend. The weather was finally perfect! The fishing, as you can see was not the best for us, but no one complained. We just trolled the lake and had a BBQ on the boat. I decided to just be the driver and not embarrass anyone by showing them how fishing is really done. HA HA!!

BBQ with Granny Great Knaphus..

The Richfield Care Center has a family BBQ every year for the residents and their families. It is always so much fun to come and hang out with Granny Knaphus and listen to the live band. She loves to be outside and enjoy the fresh air and watch some of the residents dance around with the staff. We all had a great time and love spending time with Grandma.

Laundry Monster...

Brogun has decided that his favorite chore is the laundry. He loves to toss laundry all over and unfold everything that Mommy has folded. So the only way that I can keep him busy and happy when I am trying to finish up a batch is to sit him in the basket. Don't let that sweet little face fool you...he is a busy little Monster!

Sienna's first day as a 6th grader...

Hard to believe, but it is true. Sienna is officially in Jr. High! Wow, a 6Th grader. Where has the the time gone? She was pretty nervous to start middle school and be the youngest group there. I am happy to report that she LOVES it. She is really liking all of her teacher's and classes. And especially being back with all of her friends. I have my fingers crossed that as the year and years go on that she will have the same outlook on school that she does now. She is very bright and happy girl and is such the sunshine in our family.
