Sienna's new bedroom....

Sienna has been begging for a while now to get her bedroom painted and decorated. So for Christmas this year that is exactly what she asked for. Derrick and I surprised her a few weeks back by painting the lime green wall in her room. She was more then thrilled with that. Then me, being super excited to see it all together had an extremely hard time waiting till Christmas to let her have the rest of her stuff to put it all together.
It all came together very cute. ( I must add that SHE picked out all the colors). And she is so thrilled with it. Maybe she will keep it clean now...HA HA HA! Well a mom can wish!

Merry Christmas....

Santa Baby...
The loot....

Grandma and Grandad Moore

My sweet Sienna..

Brogun playin in Sienna's presents..

Hard to believe that another Christmas has come and gone. Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. And it just gets more wonderful every year.
I am so happy that we did have a white Christmas this year. The tree's looked so amazing. It was a winter wonder land for sure.
We had a great time with the kids on Christmas morning. Sienna was thrilled to get her bedroom set that she was soooo hopeing for. I will post pics as soon as we get it all put together.
Brogun had fun with all of the wrapping paper and bows. If we were smart we would have just given him boxes and paper instead of toys. They were much more entertaining. He had a great first Christmas as did we all.
Derricks parents and my brother Trevor came over early to watch the present opening and enjoy a nice HOT sweet roll and orange roll. They were Yummy for sure.
We had Christmas dinner at my parents house, then that evening round 2 of cheesy potato's and ham at Tiffany and Tylers. We sure didn't mind the double dinner, as it is a favorite of the entire families.
I was thinking we might get to end our evening a little early, but with Tylers Wii "Rock Band" it is a fun and addictive game to get Derrick away from. He had a blast and it was fun to watch 3 men get so intense in playing.
We had an amazing Christmas and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family to spend it with.
2010 is just around the corner and I am so excited to see what blessings it has in store for our little family.

Temple Square....

Derrick took the family to Salt Lake this weekend to go to Temple Square. We got to Temple Square just in time for the lights to come on. It is such a beautiful and spititual place to be, especially this time of year. And lucky for us, the weather was pretty nice. The warm before the storm. We walked around by the nativity and the reflection pond and admired all the amazing lights. It is wonderful to see and be reminded of what Christmas is all about.

Gingerbread House's.......

Grandma Cindy loves to get all of the grandkids together to make crafts for each Holiday. So being Christmas soon, it was time to make Gingerbread houses.
The kids had a great time squeezing icing on their houses and decorating it however they liked. Some houses had a little more candy on them then others, depending on how hungry the elf was.
They all turned out super cute and the kids had a blast.

Visit with Santa..

Can you tell she is thrilled....
Guess it is better then crying....

Santa made a visit to the town Christmas party the other night. And as all mom's know, you have to get the first Christmas Santa picture. While most of the other babies were crying to sit on this strangers lap, Brogun decided it was time for a nap. Made for a cute photo anyway.
And as for pre-teen Sienna....well mom got her way! She refused to sit on his lap since she is SO OLD now. However, Mom can be pretty persuasive when I want to be. HA HA HA! She decided it wasn't too bad once they handed her a king size Kit Kat (her favorite). But she assured me that she will NOT be sitting on his lap again.

Best Sisters...Best Friends....

Sienna and her sister Lacee had a sleepover/dress-up night on Friday. I forgot what it was like to have so much energy! They did each other's hair and make-up then came up for mom to do a photoshoot.
They are quite the characters, but had a blast together.
I am so glad that they live so close and can see each other when ever they want.

Happy Turkey Day!!

Broguns 1st Thanksgiving...
Mommy's little helper...

We had a wonderful and definately filling Thanksgiving this year. We had Thanksgiving at our house for the first time. And even though it was alot of work, it was really fun. Mom's health isn't very good, so we thought we would take it off of her shoulders and let her relax. And I think she enjoyed herself.
We didn't have lots of people this year with Johnny and Danielle and the girls in Wyoming and not being able to make it down. Trevor had to work the day, but made his way over that night for his dinner.
Derrick and Sienna went over and rescued Grandma Knaphus from the Care Center for a few hours and I am glad to report that Derrick and I made her sausage rice stuffing and she approved! I must say it did turn out very good.
Grandma Anderson came over with her fleet of pumpkin and lemon pineapple pies. Delicious!! Aunt Jan and Brandon made it here from Park City. Misty and Barry were even here. Dad had to work part of the day, but made it here just in time.
I got a little carried away with dinner prep and didn't get many photo's taken. Not like me at all! I will try to make up for it on later posts!
Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on all the blessing in our lives. I am so very blessed with such an amazing family. I have such a wonderful and caring husband who has saved me in so many ways. He is my strength and I am so thankful for my eternal companion.
My beautiful Daughter Sienna who has been my backbone and helped me keep my chin up and keep going when I didn't think I could.
My handsome baby Brogun who has brought so much joy into our little family. He is so fun and has quite the little personality.
I love each and everyone of my Family and Friends and am thankful for all the love and support they give to us.
And I am so thankful for the gospel and our Heavenly Father who blesses us in so many ways. Without them we have nothing.
I hope each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween...

Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
The moore babies...
Gavin, Alyson, Trevin, and Brogun

Brogun Bear
Punk Rocker Sienna

With Great-Grandma Knaphus

Gavin and Brogun with Great Grandma Allen
We had a great and super fun Halloween this year. Grandma Cindy came up with the idea that we should do Goldilocks and the 3 bears with the babies this year. And it turned out so cute. My sister-in-law Malory made all the babies the super cute hats. And we had a blast getting them together for there first Halloween picture.
Sienna could not decide what she wanted to be for Halloween. On Friday night she had a party to go to so she was a hippie and wore a black poofy wig (mom failed to get a pic). Well she didn't like the itchy wig so the next night she opted for crimping her hair and frizzing it out like a punk rocker. She started laughing at her hair when it was done and I laughed at the fact that I worked hard to get my hair to poof like that in High School. Ha Ha! And did I mention the crimper she used was mine from High School. Derrick was amazed that something so old still worked! Brat!
We took the kids around to the Grandparents and then turned Sienna loose with some of her friends to go trick-or-treating. And Derrick and I took Brogun to the town Carnival.
And as always we headed to bed on a candy sugar high from all the treats.

First Hair Cut...

Yep, my baby boy got his first hair cut the other night. He didn't seem to mind it at first. That was short lived when he decided it was time to get down and play.
Aunt Marcea did a great job and he looks very handsome!

Dirty Deer Hunters..

Sienna and Derrick went hunting with some friends this year on 4-wheelers. Sienna was so excited to go, but had no idea the long ride and day that was in store for her.
They were up and ready to go by 5:30 a.m. And were bundled up and on there way out the door by 6.
They rode from our house up over west mountain and over to Delta. They finally made their way back home at 7 that night. Both were completely exhausted to say the least. And did I mention DIRTY? I think the picture says it all. Unfortunately they came home empty handed, but had a great time together.

Playing at the Pumpkin Patch..

My Adorable Kids..

Loves his pumpkin...
Every year we take all the kids out to the pumpkin patch here in Elsinore. Usually it is only the kids, Grandma Cindy and the moms. But this year even the dads and Grandad were able to get done with work and little early and go with us.
We all enjoyed the ride on the hay covered wagon out to the pumpkin patch. Then the hunt for the perfect pumpkin begins. And I must say there is lots of fabulous pumpkins to choose from. Sienna was so excited to find a little tiny one for Brogun. And he loved it so much that I could not get it away from him until he fell asleep.
I love this time of year and all of the time we spend together with our family. We are so truly blessed and I am so thankful for all that we have in our lives.

My Big Boy Brogun...

Brogun and Mommy...
Already standing up...

Showing mom his favorite ball...
Wow, how the time flys by. My baby is already 8 months old. It always amazes me how the days, weeks, months and soon, all too soon the years go by. He is such a happy little boy and adores is big sister and she him. He started to pull himself up to the furniture a few weeks ago and is already getting daring and letting go now and then. I am sure that it will not be long before he is walking. Yicks...mommy is not ready for that.
He had found his voice and likes to jabber and is actually saying a few clear words like momma, dada, Ah OO. And we all get a laugh when he wrinkes up his nose and snort when you are trying to feed him something he is not a fan of.
I was a little nervous about having my kids so far apart in age, but it has been so much fun and Sienna loves having a baby brother. I am sure it won't be long before he becomes the little shadow that drives her crazy. But we will enjoy every step and every milestone.

Introducing.... Mr.and Mrs. Barry Ness

September 19th Misty and Barry decided to tie the knot. They were married in Glenwood at the town hall. It was such a beautiful wedding and so much fun. Most of the family was there, along with many close friends.
Misty and Barry are planning on moving to Alaska in the near future. (Alaska is where Barry is from). And Misty could not be more happy. We are all so thrilled for them both and wish them all the happiness in the world.
Congradulations Mr. and Mrs. Barry Ness!

Dinosaur Land...

For Labor Day this year the family decided it would be fun to go to Ogden to the Dinosaur Park. So we got up bright and early and headed north. The park was lots of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves walking through the museum and looking at all the displays of bones, fossils, and my favorite the precious stones! The kiddo's really loved the animated T-rex and Stegosaurus. Okay... all but Ashlyn who had quite the grip on her daddy's neck. Sienna and Brogun both really seemed to enjoy the park and the entire day. It is always fun to get together and go different places.
