Best Sisters...Best Friends....

Sienna and her sister Lacee had a sleepover/dress-up night on Friday. I forgot what it was like to have so much energy! They did each other's hair and make-up then came up for mom to do a photoshoot.
They are quite the characters, but had a blast together.
I am so glad that they live so close and can see each other when ever they want.

Happy Turkey Day!!

Broguns 1st Thanksgiving...
Mommy's little helper...

We had a wonderful and definately filling Thanksgiving this year. We had Thanksgiving at our house for the first time. And even though it was alot of work, it was really fun. Mom's health isn't very good, so we thought we would take it off of her shoulders and let her relax. And I think she enjoyed herself.
We didn't have lots of people this year with Johnny and Danielle and the girls in Wyoming and not being able to make it down. Trevor had to work the day, but made his way over that night for his dinner.
Derrick and Sienna went over and rescued Grandma Knaphus from the Care Center for a few hours and I am glad to report that Derrick and I made her sausage rice stuffing and she approved! I must say it did turn out very good.
Grandma Anderson came over with her fleet of pumpkin and lemon pineapple pies. Delicious!! Aunt Jan and Brandon made it here from Park City. Misty and Barry were even here. Dad had to work part of the day, but made it here just in time.
I got a little carried away with dinner prep and didn't get many photo's taken. Not like me at all! I will try to make up for it on later posts!
Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on all the blessing in our lives. I am so very blessed with such an amazing family. I have such a wonderful and caring husband who has saved me in so many ways. He is my strength and I am so thankful for my eternal companion.
My beautiful Daughter Sienna who has been my backbone and helped me keep my chin up and keep going when I didn't think I could.
My handsome baby Brogun who has brought so much joy into our little family. He is so fun and has quite the little personality.
I love each and everyone of my Family and Friends and am thankful for all the love and support they give to us.
And I am so thankful for the gospel and our Heavenly Father who blesses us in so many ways. Without them we have nothing.
I hope each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween...

Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
The moore babies...
Gavin, Alyson, Trevin, and Brogun

Brogun Bear
Punk Rocker Sienna

With Great-Grandma Knaphus

Gavin and Brogun with Great Grandma Allen
We had a great and super fun Halloween this year. Grandma Cindy came up with the idea that we should do Goldilocks and the 3 bears with the babies this year. And it turned out so cute. My sister-in-law Malory made all the babies the super cute hats. And we had a blast getting them together for there first Halloween picture.
Sienna could not decide what she wanted to be for Halloween. On Friday night she had a party to go to so she was a hippie and wore a black poofy wig (mom failed to get a pic). Well she didn't like the itchy wig so the next night she opted for crimping her hair and frizzing it out like a punk rocker. She started laughing at her hair when it was done and I laughed at the fact that I worked hard to get my hair to poof like that in High School. Ha Ha! And did I mention the crimper she used was mine from High School. Derrick was amazed that something so old still worked! Brat!
We took the kids around to the Grandparents and then turned Sienna loose with some of her friends to go trick-or-treating. And Derrick and I took Brogun to the town Carnival.
And as always we headed to bed on a candy sugar high from all the treats.

First Hair Cut...

Yep, my baby boy got his first hair cut the other night. He didn't seem to mind it at first. That was short lived when he decided it was time to get down and play.
Aunt Marcea did a great job and he looks very handsome!

Dirty Deer Hunters..

Sienna and Derrick went hunting with some friends this year on 4-wheelers. Sienna was so excited to go, but had no idea the long ride and day that was in store for her.
They were up and ready to go by 5:30 a.m. And were bundled up and on there way out the door by 6.
They rode from our house up over west mountain and over to Delta. They finally made their way back home at 7 that night. Both were completely exhausted to say the least. And did I mention DIRTY? I think the picture says it all. Unfortunately they came home empty handed, but had a great time together.
